Is the answer given in the handout wrong? I keep getting -27.48 for my Angular Momentum but it should just be the cross product between the radius and the linear momentum. Am I missing something?
Both r and mv are in the i and j directions. Your mv is the vector from part a, and r is simply 2cos(15)i - 2sin(15)j. If you do the cross product right, you get what's on the answer sheet. Double check your negative signs and vectors.
