Review problem 21. On wheel 2 you have mgsin(theta) being negative. Shouldn't that be positive since it is going in the positve X direction? Maybe I am just tired and missing something.

You are correct; the M*g*sin(theta) should be positive. The error is carried all through the problem. I should have caught the mistake at the end but missed it. Unfortunately, I just dropped the negative sign in the last step.
