- We will collect the third assigned problem for the day (Problem 3/342).
- You are asked to rework Problems 1 and 3 from Exam No. 1. Please see the link shown to the right under COURSE LINKS titled "Exam No. 1 Rework" for the problem statements for these two problems. In addition, for Problem No. 3 you are asked to find the velocity of point P for both parts a) and b). [Note that your answer for v_P for parts a) and b) should be the same.] Also included with these problem statements are some hints and points of discussion on these two problems. Please let us know if you have questions related to these points of discussion. The rework of these two problems will be worth two homework problems (20 points max).
The intent of asking you to rework these problems is to provide a rewarded opportunity to go back over this material. It is hoped this this rework will result in a better understanding of these topics.
Thanks to Evan for the reminder on posting this. I have had meetings all day today over in my office in Engineering Professional Education and have just now gotten around to this posting.
