- Problem No. 1 will cover point kinematics (Cartesian, path and polar coordinate descriptions). It is possible that you will need to use more than one of the above descriptions in order to solve this problem.
- Problem No. 2 will cover planar kinematics of rigid bodies; for example, you might be asked to solve the velocity and acceleration problems for a planar mechanism. If you are asked to use the method of instant centers on this question, then you should do so as asked. Otherwise, you are free in your choice of solution methods for this problem.
- Problem No. 3 will cover 3D moving reference frame kinematics.
